Simuna Church

Simuna Church, alongside with Tallinn Cathedral Church, is one of the oldest churches in Tallinn, built in the 13th century. Throughout wars and centuries the church has been destroyed and rebuilt again several times.

The church has an altar by the wood carver C. Ackermann and organ by the organ maker Gustav Normann. Several famous people (family of C. von Kügelgen, C.T. von Neff, the Pauckers family and Karl Kaddak, lime manufacturer of Rakke) have been buried in the Simuna churchyard.
